Our Services

Proud African Safaris arranges private, custom safari itineraries in Tanzania and neighboring regions, including accommodations, transportation, guiding services, and optional trip extensions. Itineraries, pricing, and availability are subject to change and confirmation at the time of booking.

Bookings, Deposits & Payments

A deposit is typically required to confirm a safari booking, with the balance due prior to travel as outlined in your individual trip proposal. Prices are subject to change until a deposit is received.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation policies vary depending on the camps, lodges, airlines, and ground operators involved in your itinerary, many of which have their own non-refundable deposit requirements. Specific cancellation terms will be provided with your trip proposal and invoice. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen changes.

Assumption of Risk

Safari travel involves inherent risks, including but not limited to wildlife encounters, remote locations, variable road and weather conditions, and limited access to medical facilities. By booking a safari with us, you acknowledge and accept these risks. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel and medical evacuation insurance for all guests.

Limitation of Liability

Proud African Safaris acts as an agent for third-party suppliers, including lodges, camps, airlines, and ground transportation providers, and is not liable for their acts, omissions, or failures to perform. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in a safari.

Travel Documents & Health Requirements

Guests are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and any required vaccinations or health documentation for travel to Tanzania and any extension destinations. We recommend consulting official government and health authority sources for current requirements.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, and itineraries, is the property of Proud African Safaris or its licensors and may not be reproduced or used without prior written permission.
