To go on a safari in Africa, we needed to book with an outfit who knows Africa. Adam, the proprietor of P.A.S. has been guiding safari tours for over 22 years. A Masai, his intimate knowledge of the parks, the animals, the different tribes and people of the region all added to a safari that will leave you awe struck. The Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire were all part of our 10 day adventure into the African Bush. Proud African Safaris arranged all accommodations, activities, meals, everything! All superb. From the correspondence with P.A.S. staff leading up, to the actual experience with Adam, our group was completely satisfied.
But the real reason Adam made it so special is his ability to track the animals. He made sightings of the Big 5 almost commonplace! Exception the Black rhino where he even managed to spot one in the Crater despite Black rhinos being almost wiped out. A bull, he was magnificent.
But the Big 5 were only a part of an adventure which included dozens and dozens of different species. Adam knew them all and had the books to prove it. The birds! OMG. Antelope as little as rabbit sized Dik dik to huge majestic Eland. And at least 10 other species of antelope alone. The gushing could go on an on. It was that good!
Of course, the 10 days flew by but we are already dreaming of our next trip.
