From December 27th to January 7th my wife and I and our two grandchildren (ages 10 and 13) were on safari in Tanzania with Proud African Safaris. This was unquestionably one of the finest trips we have taken. The pre program preparations were handled efficiently and expertly. We were met at the airport by Zubeda who quickly got us through customs and immigration and then to our lodge for the night.
Our guides (Adam and Sitta) were incredible in spotting animals and anticipating their movements. In 12 days we saw all the animals we had hoped to see and were almost always positioned for the best view and photo shoot.
The accommodations selected by Proud African Safaris varied from rustic temporary tent camps to luxurious lodges and all were comfortable.
Special consideration was given to our grandkids so that the experience was as much for them as it was for us. This was our third African safari and was definitely the best. On a scale of 1-10, I would give them a 15.
