We cannot adequately express how much we loved our safari. It was an experience of a lifetime and Pauline and I think it was one of the best things we have ever done. I am 70 years old and ever since I was a little boy I have wanted to do exactly what we did over the past couple of weeks. Sometimes when you look forward to something for so long, its execution becomes an anti-climax and can be a bit disappointing. Our safari excelled all expectations and, for me, more than fulfilled my boyhood dream.
All the arrangements were impeccable and so thoughtfully put together. We so appreciated the fine quality of the accommodation and the food and excellent South African wines … and the local beers! The tented camps were really comfortable and great fun and Plantation Lodge is one of the best places we have ever stayed.
The range of animals we saw was superb and it is was such a privilege to be able to get so up close and personal with all those splendid beasts. I can’t believe I was only three or four metres from the world’s most handsome leopard.
Most importantly was the care, interest and attention showered on us by Adam and Sitta. And their knowledge is extraordinary and so beautifully shared with us. We all came away agreeing they were more than tour guides, they became special friends and it was like we have known forever. We certainly hope our paths will cross again.
So Nandi, it was simply brilliant. We would gladly do it all again tomorrow
